If you like doing laps in the swimming pool, you might want to stock up on the energy drinks before diving in the world’s largest swimming pool in the San Alfonso del Mar resort in Algarrobo, Chile. Guinness Book of Records has named the vast pool beside the sea in Chile as the biggest in the world.

But if you fancy splashing out on one of your own – and you have the space to accommodate it – then beware: This one took five years to build, cost nearly £1billion and the annual maintenance bill will be £2million.

Indoor Pool on a Budget

Have you ever wished you had an indoor pool?
Think you can't afford one?

Think again.
Here is a photo tutorial that will show you step by step how to have an indoor pool on a budget. Enjoy!

Step one: Move everything out of the way, and take the guts out of your computer... I'm not sure why you take the computer apart, but it's right there in the photo so it must be important.

Step two: Put the filter together before you clean up the mess.

Step three: Clean up the mess and then put down a big blue tarp. Tape it to the wall with, duct tape. At least I think it's duct tape... looks like duct tape to me. And I know that at my house, when all else fails, that's what we always use.

Step four: Lay the pool out, and then take a nap in it. Very important to take that nap! This is hard work.

Step Five: Hook up the hose and sack out on the couch while the pool fills up.

Keep on filling it...

Step six: Add a pool toy and continue to fill the pool.

Step seven: Put the ladder in, change the hose, and keep filling... it's a good thing you took that nap earlier. You wouldn't want to accidentally fall asleep now.

Step eight: Ahh... enjoy your indoor swimming pool.
