The tilted house

This French building certainly looks as if it is vanishing into the ground, so steep is the angle of tilt. So has someone been playing around with Photoshop? Is this just a trick image that has been manipulated?

Well, no. This is an actual photo, that is completely untouched or changed in any way. How is it possible?
