Curve to showcase PUCCA fashions in Los Angeles

On the heels of the East Coast unveiling of a specialized apparel collection inspired by the international character PUCCA during New York Fashion Week, Warner Bros. Consumer Products and VOOZ Co., Ltd. hosted a dazzling West Coast launch event at Curve Boutique located on Los Angeles’ chic Robertson Blvd. The PUCCA capsule collection, making its much-anticipated U.S. debut this month, is based on the character from South Korea who has gained wild popularity in Europe and Asia.

Attracting a host of Hollywood’s hottest celebrities and “fashionistas,” the red-carpet soirĂ©e was attended by actresses Amy Smart and Jessica Lowndes, actor Jack Huston, Korean actress Lee Da Hae, Bijou Phillips and Swedish indie-pop singer Lykke Li, as well as Boo Kyoung Kim, President, VOOZ Co., Ltd. and creator/founder of PUCCA.

The PUCCA-inspired apparel includes pieces from noted fashion designers, each with an eye for flair and creativity, who were chosen by Curve Boutique owner Nevena Borissova to interpret the character through their own distinct visions and styles. Comprising the capsule collection are stunning designs from Preen, Mark Fast, Raquel Allegra, Unconditional, Not Rational, Genetic Denim, I.R.O and jewelry by Erickson Beamon.

Curve will showcase the PUCCA fashions exclusively throughout the spring. Additionally, the designs can be viewed on the PUCCA Facebook page.

Kim Kardashian spotted in LA wearing Dita sunglasses


Paparazzi photos of Kim Kardashian taken recently in Los Angeles show the model, actress and business woman wearing the latest sunglasses from Dita Eyewear, designers of vintage-inspired sunglasses favored by the fashion elite.

A posting on her official website confirms she's a devoted Dita fan: "My absolute favorite brand of sunglasses is Dita. They make the coolest pairs of glasses that are stylish and such great quality."

Kardashian, star of the E! reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashian's, has been spotted wearing her Dita sunglasses, the night moves model, part of the high-end eye wear designer's collection. Others known to wear exquisitely-crafted Dita eye wear include Brad Pitt, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Jessica Simpson, Penelope Cruz, Kate Hudson, Lenny Kravitz, Eva Mendez and Jamie Fox, to name just a few.

Lamborghini Debuts Los Angeles Fashion Boutique


Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., welcomed customers, VIPs and Lamborghini executives to the exclusive grand opening celebration of the newest Automobili Lamborghini Boutique, located in a luxury shopping center outside of Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles fashion boutique will be the second Automobili Lamborghini boutique to open in 2009, after the Beijing, China store in November. Beijing and Los Angeles were strategically chosen for their locations -- Beijing as one of the world’s fastest growing markets and Southern California, traditionally one of the brand’s strongest regions.

“Opening an Automobili Lamborghini Boutique in Los Angeles further demonstrates our brand extension strategy towards high-end products consistent with the spirit of luxury sports cars,” stated Winkelmann. “The philosophy behind the Collezione Automobili Lamborghini fashion line is synonymous with the traits of each Lamborghini super sports car: Extreme, Uncompromising and unmistakably Italian. The Automobili Lamborghini Boutique embodies this culture to offer customers access to a more glamorous and exclusive world.”

In celebration of the opening, nearly 30 Lamborghini owners and their super sports cars gathered in Santa Monica, Calif. for an exclusive drive event. They were joined by Lamborghini executives, including Winkelmann, who led a convoy in a scenic drive to the grand opening of the Automobili Lamborghini Boutique.

Kristinia DeBarge is perfect for Wet Seal brand



The Wet Seal, Inc., a leading specialty retailer to young women, today announced a partnership with SodaPop/Island Def Jam recording artist Kristinia DeBarge. The program includes a collection of fashion pieces selected by Kristinia, online and offline marketing and events, and a national contest where one lucky winner will be flown to Los Angeles to be Kristinia's BFF for the day. The fashion pieces will include denim, jackets, dresses and tops, and will continue to evolve through the New Year and early spring season. The program is set to launch on November 19, 2009.

"Kristinia is a talented, new, fresh face, and is perfect for the Wet Seal brand. She is approachable, fashionable, and sings about topics important to teens. She has a style for every occasion, and her selections reflect this," said Ed Thomas, the Company's Chief Executive Officer. In conjunction with the launch of the program, Wet Seal will also be selling Kristinia's debut album, "Exposed."

Not only is my fan base the Wet Seal customer, I am too," said Kristinia DeBarge.

Kristinia DeBarge's career got off to an impressive start following the release of her debut album, Exposed. Her first single, "Goodbye," was a Top 10 hit on iTunes. She has also performed on national television shows such as "So You Think You Can Dance" and "Live with Regis & Kelly." Fresh off her opening spot on the Britney Spears Circus Tour, Kristinia is now gearing up for her 3rd single, "Future Love." Written by Ryan Tedder (Jennifer Hudson, Natasha Bedingfield) the track is sure to be a hit. Kristinia also worked with Grammy Award winning artist Pitbull on the remix which is set to hit radio later this month. Kristinia will be an MTV Artist of The Week beginning October 25th.
