Festival of Oranges

So this is cool, the Taj Mahal made out of oranges!

And here's a well known icon!
Complete with devotees.

A loom? A well? I can't quite decide.

Who is she? The "orange fairy"?

Is this her house?

All in all, it's an interesting display. And I can't help but wonder what they will do with all those oranges when it's over. And isn't that an incredible waste of food when people are starving in third world countries?

So, today's post leaves me with a feeling of ambivalence. What do you think?
